How to Print a Report from the Crystal Viewer Screen:

  1. After you have clicked on the Print button and the report opens in Crystal Viewer, locate the printer icon in the top left section of the screen and click on it.
  2. The print window will open allowing you to make print selections.
  3. Make your selections. (printer, number of copies, etc)
  4. Click on Print. 

How to Export a Report:

Note: You have the option to export the report data to multiple file formats where you can edit the data in the report.

  1. Open the report you wish to export and click the print button.
  2. Once the report opens in Crystal Viewer, locate the export icon in the top left section of the screen.  (Next to the print button)
  3. The export window will open, allowing you to make selections.
  4. Select a file format from six options in the drop down menu. (The easiest way to manipulate data would be in Microsoft Excel or Word. Experiment with all formats to find what works best for you.)
  5. Choose to save all pages or a range of pages.
  6. Select a destination folder,  name the file and click Ok.  

Setting up "My Favorite Reports":

Note: Adding "My Favorite Reports" to your homepage,  can be done in User Maintenance, under the User Portal Tab.   (If you do not have access to User Maintenance, someone with administrative access will have to add this to your homepage.)

  1. Once you have "My Favorite Reports" on your homepage, you will need to open up the report(s) you want to save in My Favorite Reports.
  2. Open the report you wish to save.
  3. Set all the filters and settings you want for this report.
  4. Click on Print to preview the report.  Make sure all the data needed is displayed.
  5. Once the report meets your needs, Click Save.
  6. Next, Click on Save as Favorite.
  7. Place a checkmark in the box to save as a Favorite Report.
  8. A description of the report can be entered that will enable you to identify the specific report and its filters.
  9. After all the selections have been made, you can preview the report then click on Save.
  10. The report will now be on your homepage and accessible with one click.
